Over the last year, Voix et Actions has incrementally implemented a new "micro-loan" program which is called the "Social Justice Warehouse".
Seven women participants who sell goods at the local market to support their families are now in the Program. Each participant is loaned about $110 US worth of rice, cooking oil and pasta to sell each month. After repaying Voix et Actions for the cost of the goods and a small fee for transportation, they typically keep a profit of $25 to $30, a large boost to their monthly income.
We hope to assist Voix et Actions expand the Social Justice Warehouse program to ten women ... helping them realize a better life.
